One day at a
recent local art show this painting was the subject of animated discussion between two gentlemen who were pointing to
portions of the painting. I approached them and said: "It’s
Gudzik’s Marine in Port Jefferson". Much to my surprise one gentleman said, "I know it!
I’m Gudzik".
