This Tropical Mosaic Paradise diptych will probably
be the last in the series. It was the first horizontal diptych I had done
in this series, after having painted seven in a vertical format. I
especially enjoyed the color connections of upper top clouds to middle
clouds, to lower sand. Tropical beaches lead to beach paintings.
The sailboat Regatta was a break from painting larger individual
sailboats, and the dominating large island of Tropical Mosaic VIII was a
change from the other seven as well. The Scrollwork was another unique
addition in the two works. Both these Originals hang in our living room.
At this time, I can think of no better home for them.
