Lighthouse prints of the
Montauk Point lighthouse
are popular art prints here on Long Island, NY. Montauk Point is a
destination to visit, and many visitors climb the 137 steps to get a glimpse
of the view the Montauk Point lighthouse delivers. I am a member of the
Montauk Point
artists association and have been grateful that my lighthouse prints
and
lighthouse paintings have been so well received here. I display my light
house art in Montauk every august, and my wife and I stay for several nights. The
restaurants are fabulous. I even have
one painting of people fishing from a Montauk
jetty that you can see from one of the restaurant's tables.
Montauk Point really is... The End! This particular giclee lighthouse print is printed on 140# handmade cotton paper from europe. The manufacturer has been making paper by hand since 1492, and I consider it to be the best I could purchase for my printing needs. This light house art print is printed on the same paper that I used to paint the original, it is that good, and this light house art has been tested for longevity (Wilhelm Research) as well.
